Office Manager, Home Care Right at Home North Richmond is a newly licensed, locally owned home care agency serving Henrico County. We are hiring our first Office Manager to run both sides of the office: the business office and caregiver operations. You report directly to the owners. What the Office Manager will do Business office Client billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable in QuickBooks Payroll processing in iSolved Maintain personnel and client files to Virginia Department of Health home care standards and keep them survey-ready HR and administrative paperwork, background checks, credential and training tracking, vendor accounts Office administration and reporting for the owners Caregiver operations Recruit and hire caregivers through
Apploi:
screen applications, call applicants the same day, interview, and onboard Build and maintain the schedule in WellSky Personal Care, and fill open shifts when a caregiver calls out Caregiver retention: check-ins, recognition, and resolving problems before someone quits Take intake calls from families, gather what we need to staff the case, and set a clear next step Coordinate care between clients, families, caregivers, and our RN Hold the line on scope of practice when a family asks a caregiver to do something an aide cannot do What we offer $50,000 to $55,000 per year, based on experience. This role carries the after-hours phone on a rotation with the owners, and that is included in the salary. Most nights are quiet. Some are not. Please apply only if that works for you. What you need Three or more years as an office manager, office administrator, business office manager, practice manager, or in healthcare administration, staffing, or scheduling Bookkeeping fundamentals: billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll support Comfortable learning new software quickly. We will train you on WellSky, Apploi, and iSolved Strong phone and written communication. You will be speaking with families on a hard day Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle for occasional local travel High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Home care, home health, assisted living, or medical or dental office experience Caregiver, CNA, or direct-care recruiting experience QuickBooks and payroll experience Familiarity with Virginia home care licensing or survey preparation Location and territory Our office is in Richmond's West End (23229). We serve Henrico County, including Glen Allen, Short Pump, Innsbrook, Lakeside, Tuckahoe, Varina, and Highland Springs. This is an in-office role with occasional travel across the service area.
