Job Description

About the Role This is not just a front desk position. You are the first impression of Bal Driving School and the person responsible for keeping the entire operation running smoothly. You will handle customer interactions, scheduling, and payments while making sure no client is lost and no student falls through the cracks. If you're just looking to "answer phones," this is not the role for you. Preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish strongly preferred) Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment What You'll Be Responsible For Customer Experience Greet students and parents in person Answer calls, texts, and emails quickly and professionally Assist Spanish-speaking customers when needed Clients Turn inquiries into booked lessons and tests Follow up with missed calls, leads, and incomplete bookings Scheduling & Operations Schedule driving lessons, tests, and classes Manage instructor calendars and availability Ensure students complete requirements on time Keep daily operations organized and on track Payments & Admin Process payments (in-person, online, Zelle, etc.) Track bookings, refunds, and no-shows Maintain clean and accurate records What We're Looking For You're a strong fit if you: Are fast, organized, and don't need to be told what to do Can handle multiple tasks without dropping things Are comfortable talking to people all day Have a sales mindset (not pushy, but effective) Take ownership instead of making excuses Requirements Previous admin, customer service, or front desk experience preferred Strong communication skills Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, payments) Reliable and punctual Why This Role Matters This role directly impacts how many students we serve and how smooth our operation runs.
