About You:
Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision to complete time-sensitive tasks. You must have outstanding organizational and management skills and excellent written and verbal communication, be able to apply analysis, new/customized approaches, and complex problem solving skills.
Essential Functions:
OFFICE MANAGEMENT
Manages and organizes office operations and procedures. Orders and maintains office supplies and inventory. Maintains office equipment. Analyzes and maximizes office productivity. Establishes, modifies, implements, and monitors systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow. Manages central filing system including archives and vendor files. Develops and monitors office budget. Manages office security system. Prepares reports and correspondences as needed. Assists with general clerical/administrative duties as needed. Assigns duties and monitors quality of work. Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates. Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGEMENT
Finds solutions that benefit both the customer and the company. Resolves open orders passed their shipping window, invoice errors, billing issues, or potential credits. Tracks number of orders entered and maintains a monthly error log. Monitors and processes order requests. Resolves escalated issues.
FACILITIES
Maintains the efficiency and good working conditions of the facilities. Ensures facilities are cleaned, repaired, and maintained. Complies with all regulations pertaining to area. Reviews lease or facility contracts and makes recommendations to senior management.
SHIPPING & ORDER PROCESSING
Manages purchase orders for the office. Coordinates fulfillment logistics of web orders. Packs and ships orders for the office. Maintains inventory for the office. SAFETY Develops, implements, and monitors safety programs. Plans, implements, communicates, and monitors safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations. Schedules and performs safety inspections. Investigates all accidents and injuries. Develops and implements safety training programs. Distributes and/or posts new and revised safety standards that affect the company. Reviews and responds to OSHA injuries. Identifies potential safety hazards at all facilities. Maintains records. Prepares and maintains required safety reports. OTHER Special projects, and other functions and duties as may be required.
Requirements:
BS in Business Administration or equivalent Two to four years of work experience in a related role Knowledge of basic computer skills Excellent written, verbal, and nonverbal interpersonal and communication skills Must be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision Maturity and safe work habits in an industrial environment required Ability to work some overtime required Ability to engage in independent decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to independently advance skills as required to meet shifting job requirements in a dynamic and growing organizational environment Ability to effectively challenge and enhance the professional development of others Ability to interact with others effectively within a diverse organization
