Job Summary:
Maintain school office and provide administrative and clerical support to the principal. The Campus Office Manager working in the Mack Elementary Office should model to students, colleagues and the Bellevue Christian School community an attitude of Christ-like servant hood, cooperation, accuracy and accountability. He/she must be prepared to answer questions with a spirit of patience and honesty. Conflicts that arise are to be resolved through the Matthew 18 principle.
General Responsibilities:
Along with the campus office assistant, handle correspondence, confidential matters and phone calls. Assist the principal with a variety of office duties as necessary. Works as a collaborative team player and work cohesively with the Office Assistant to provide administrative support under the direction of the Principal. Utilize, update and maintain the BCS master calendar for all campus events and school-related activities, along with scheduling and tracking for field trips, transportation, interviews, school photo days, facilities requests, publishing report cards and the set-up of refreshments for parents/faculty/staff at campus events and meetings when necessary. Facilitate requests for student records and immunization records, organizing and closing as students withdraw or move to Junior High. Maintain all office files. Act as liaison between custodian, teachers, technology, administration and facilities personnel. Handle ordering the ordering of classroom and office supplies, both at year end and throughout the year. This also includes all supplies and servicing needed for the office copiers Utilize the school database (Veracross) for queries, class lists, email lists, mailing labels as needed. Coordinate with PTF chair for PTF activities and expenses. Schedule subs as needed, check subs in with keys, paperwork, nametag and sub plans and check subs out each day. Monitor timesheets of all hourly employees, tracking hours for the year, appropriate holiday days etc.
Qualifications:
Previous administrative support experience (preferably in a school setting) Must posses strong customer service and people skills Proficiency and comfort with technology (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based platforms) Benefits package includes: Medical, dental, and vision coverage options.
