Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE
Team members in this role will be expected to contribute to maintaining a high-quality work environment at N.E.W. Plastics Corp. This position supports the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems and displays good customer service to our internal and external customers consistent with our values. This role provides general office support for all the front office team members including human resources, purchasing, production, scheduling, accounting, safety, payroll and engineering.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Maintaining and updating the corporate intranet site. 2. Coordinating and assisting with the corporate sponsored activities. (i.e. Health Fair, Christmas dinner, picnic, etc.) 3. Filing 4. Document creation and support. 5. Organizing and maintaining corporate files of all types. 6. Software support for computer programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others. 7. Manages and runs the front desk which includes answering phones and greeting and handling all front door visitors. 1. Works as a resource for all team members responding to questions and contacts by providing coaching, guidance and feedback in alignment with training and onboarding with a focus on the customer. 2. Writes, revises, edits and proofreads training related communications, guidelines, procedures and related documents. 3. Participates either as a support person, facilitator, or member of project and process teams that may or may not be related to human resources processes. 4. Assists the department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all organization team members. 5. Keeps leadership advised of potential problem areas and recommends/implements solutions as appropriate.
Decision Making:
( Decisions that this role is solely responsible for and only checked periodically.) Utilizing technology to speed responsiveness of the department to the needs of the business. Design, revision and maintenance of new Team member onboarding content, tone, length, etc. Provides insights that result in the determining of both the near and mid-term objectives in human resources.

Qualification/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Associate's degree (A. A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, preferred; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to two years experience with time and attendance and payroll systems and processes. Multi-tasking skills including the ability to speak clearly and concisely, in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the telephone. Problem solving skills including problem identification and conclusion drawing. Writing skills specifically in the area of writing operating processes and/or interpreting and responding to various documents and correspondence. 6. Must be proficient in WordPerfect and Lotus or Excel. Computer experience with integrated accounting and manufacturing software, the internet, Microsoft Windows/Office software, ADP software, and related products. Ability to apply concepts such as basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 8. Use sound judgment and work independently and make appropriate decisions in a logical manner. 9. Strong analytical, problem solving and coaching and feedback skills.
Pay:
Starting pay is $38,700/year for this role. We will pay more based on experience.
Pay:
$38,700.00 - $55,300.00 per year
