Must be professional, trustworthy, and dependable and a pleasant personality to greet clients. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to handle various office tasks in a professional setting, be focused and have a positive attitude with the desire & motivation to assist in all projects as needed. Candidate will be responsible for supporting the clients and employees of the firm, answering telephone calls, filing and scanning, gathering of mail, and all related general and administrative office duties.
Position Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience required (preferably in a CPA firm). Excellent computer software skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly changing environment. Self-directed and self-motivated; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent verbal, writing, organizational skills and attention to detail. F Confidentiality when dealing with others and performing work activities. Background check required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Greet all visitors, callers and employees in a professional, courteous and friendly manner. Maintain all filing in accordance with established file retention policies. Responsible for all incoming and out-going mail. Ordering office supplies and facilitating maintenance and repairs of office equipment. Data Entry within various software packages. Entering bank deposits and maintain customer accounts. Tax return processing (not tax preparing) for individuals, corporate & partnerships (experience helpful but not necessary). Calendar management & scheduling appointments.

Hours:
8 am to 5 pm. During tax season there is an expectation of additional hours in the evening and on weekends.
