Duties Help As an Administrive Officer, you will: Supervise subordine employees working in the functional areas of budget administrion, procurement/supply administrion, space/facility management, travel administrion, personnel administrion, management informion systems, and automion in the field offices. Ensure sufficient office coverage and act as "Acting Office Manager" when the Office Manager is absent and necessary. Provide remote management and leadership when local management is not available. Formule budget submissions; participe in establishing F&M Area Manager's budgetary and accounting systems; analyze and make recommendions to the Area Manager as to budget requests; employ budget analysis techniques including cost-benefit analysis, explorion of alternive methods of funding, and program tradeoffs. Specialized Experience:
Your resume must demonstre least one year of specialized experience or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the prive or public sector.
Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience supervising or leading employees to include assigning and monitoring work, training/mentoring employees and evaluing performance; AND Advising management on administrive operions such as facilities, personnel, and budget mters; AND Evaluing administrive functions and recommending improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed the next lower grade/level position in the federal service ( GS-12 ). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your educion for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualificion requirement using experience alone--no substitution of educion for experience is permitted.
