Pre-Employment Requirements:
We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of administrative, clerical, office, or customer service experience preferred. Healthcare or hospital business office experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
Responsibilities:
Assist with payroll, contract billing, follow-up, and registration processes Support billing activities for offsite laboratory contracts and clinical research programs Prepare itemized bills and assist billers with reconciling accounts to UB-04s Coordinate cosmetic procedure scheduling and payment requirements using IQUEUE, communicating with Pre-Registration and physician offices. Provide self-pay pricing information to patients and physician offices. Scan and upload insurance correspondence into patient accounts for billing staff Process stay-type changes and Medicare shadow claims Asssist Patient Accounts with DRG quotes and self-pay requests Verify charges and invoices for designated physician and workers' compensation services Order and maintain Business Office supplies, coordinate postage, and PO Box payments Maintain conference room scheduling and provide adminstrative support for Revenue Cycle meetings, including meeting minutes Assist billers and Business Office leadership with special projects and other administrative functions Assist with facility-wide events and activies as needed Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
