Job Description
Office Administrative Assistant We are a small, family-owned construction company looking for a dependable, organized, and professional Office Administrator to join our team. This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities, working closely with company leadership, employees, project managers, customers, and vendors. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, follows through on tasks, and takes pride in doing things correctly. We are looking for someone who can work independently, stay organized, and recognize what needs to be done without always being asked.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers and project owners and assist with maintaining positive business relationships. Assist with hiring, interviews, applicant documentation, and employee offboarding. Coordinate purchasing, purchase orders, receipts, and inventory. Maintain organized project, employee, and administrative files. Answer phones, greet visitors, manage office communications, and monitor the AP email inbox. Manage employee timekeeping, scheduling, overtime tracking, and vacation requests. Assist with safety meetings, employee training, and related documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment. Provide general administrative support to company leadership and project management.What We're Looking For:
Dependable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong follow-through and attention to detail. Organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Professional and friendly communication skills. Comfortable handling confidential information. Proficient with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and office management systems. Construction experience is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Previous office administration, HR, or operations experience preferred.Compensation:
