Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our small family owned automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Also must have high honesty and integrity, be punctual and ontime. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership and customers. The Office Assistant will be responsible for managing front desk duties, greeting customers, providing requests for information, processing credit applications for approvals, take payments, and small clerical duties. This is a part-time position. The days and hours needed are as follows: Mondays 12-5, Tuesdays 8-5, Friday 8-5, and at least every other Saturday 8-5 (can work every Saturday by choice). This position has limited possibilites to grow. Must have reliable transportation as well as be punctual and on time. Responsibilities Greet visitors in the office and on the lot, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Answer and direct calls with professionalism and courtesy. Perform data entry, filing, and maintain organized records for easy access. Assist scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and. Support office management functions including but not limited to running credit applications & taking payments Conduct proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism. Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and communication. Maintain computer literacy across various software applications including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Dealer Center is a plus. Qualifications Previous office experience is preferred; clerical or administrative and sales experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,) and Google Workspace. Familiarity with Dealer Center is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential. Typing proficiency with attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation.
