Educational Services Records Clerk Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
To maintain and coordinate the verification of special education student records and assessments; to ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements.
Principal Responsibilities:
Monitor all special education paperwork done by school personnel for compliance with state and federal machines. Monitor and report to school personnel specified dates for annual and three year special education reviews. Completion of all state and federal reporting requirements for special education census data. Trains special education personnel in the use of the District's computerized IEP program. Reviews special education records of new students to the District to assist with placement and MET review process. Other duties as may be assigned. List specific examples of degree(s), area(s) of study, and/or licensure(s), High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of general office experience.
