Overview Provide prompt and courteous service for customers, farmers, and the board of directors; to assist the general manager in the daily operational needs of the District office. Duties Establish and maintain quality customer service by providing the general public with information about the District, water allocations, well registration and the water allocation transfer application process within our district boundaries. Maintain accurate record keeping by properly entering and updating information. Assist in maintaining orderly office activities by performing clerical duties including filing, typing, updating of manuals, record storage, telephone coverage and similar responsibilities. Prepare monthly board meeting documents for the board of directors and attend the monthly board meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. Support bookkeeping tasks by assisting with invoicing and expense tracking using QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Handle clerical duties including proofreading documents, managing email correspondence, and organizing office supplies. Update and maintain the District website as needed. Promote an environment that encourages team building by being cooperative and courteous, and assisting the general manager with the completion of their responsibilities. Other job duties as assigned. Experience Two years proven experience in office management or administrative support roles with a focus on clerical tasks and customer service excellence. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail. Previous experience using QuickBooks or similar financial software is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette, proofreading skills, and technical proficiency to support various administrative functions. A valid driver's license is required with a clean MVD record. Must be willing to work Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:00pm. Must be willing to work a longer shift on the first Tuesday of each month for board meetings.
