Job Description

Description:
The Front Desk team serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, vendors, and callers. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring the efficient operation of patient registration, scheduling, communication, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities :
Follow all company policies, procedures, HIPAA requirements, and confidentiality standards. Serves patients by greeting patients in a friendly manner. Scheduling appointments Answering all incoming phone calls. Maintains incoming faxes Scheduling referrals Obtaining Prior Authorization Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time by scheduling appointments in an effective way. Ensuring availability of treatment information and patient forms by prompt timely manner into patient charts. Collection of co-payments, products, cosmetics, and patient balances. Maintains business office inventory by checking stock and determining inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and report needed changes. Contributes to team efforts, keeping everyone apprised of any necessary information. Travel to other Peak Dermatology Locations as needed. All other duties as assigned This position is responsible for managing front office operations and ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting the clinical and administrative functions of the organization.

Preferred Qualification:
Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in data entry and clerical tasks Familiarity with medical or dental office procedures is a plus Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
