The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative and back office support and possess knowledge of medical terminology. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As the only employee of the practice, candidate must be able to:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
• Assist with insurance verification, medical billing and coding tasks
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
• Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries promptly
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient office operations Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a similar role is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in using medical office software, handling insurance verification/eligibility and using a multiple line phone system
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize tasks effectively This is primarily a front office position with some back office responsibilities.
