PremierOne Plus MSO is seeking a full-time Utilization Management Office Assistant to ensure high quality and efficient day-to-day operations. Duties and Responsibilities Perform data entry on physician referrals accurately Answer incoming calls from physicians, hospitals, and providers Follow up pending referrals to ensure that they are processed in a timely manner Call physician and provider offices to obtain relevant medical records and documentation Educate providers as needed with the referral and authorization process Verify member eligibility before processing authorizations Maintain confidentiality of protected health information Check, send, attach, and manage the Utilization Management department faxes Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills and writing skills (correct use of grammar and punctuation) Able to relay information accurately, concisely, and in a way that makes sense Fluent in English (reading and writing) Has common sense Able to follow instructions accurately Detail-oriented and able to recognize vital information Ability to consistently maintain quality and production expectations Knows how to use a computer, mouse, and keyboard Can type well on a keyboard with the correct hand positions and technique Able to use the internet to search for doctors, phone/fax numbers, address Benefits Vacation time Paid sick days (5) Paid major holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Schedule Monday to Friday (all days)
Full-time :
8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (whole duration, 1-hour lunch in between) Salary Starting rate is negotiable depending on relevant and exact experience
