Typical Day in the Role
  • Purpose of the
Team:
The team is part of Clients Silicon Valley organization, supporting employees across the Mountain View campus and a smaller Santa Clara lab location. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, requiring strong partnership across multiple teams and the flexibility to support business operations at both sites. The role plays a key part in ensuring seamless administrative support for leadership, team activities, and day-to-day operations. Performs a variety of complex administrative functions primarily for an individual manager and secondarily for a group. Manages schedule(s); coordinates travel arrangements; coordinates meetings and events; coordinates department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility operations; completes special projects as assigned.
  • Key projects: This role will contribute to hardware and procurement ordering, space and facilities coordination, event support, and handling day?to?day administrative and ad?hoc requests in support of a large on?site team. Candidate Requirements
Disqualifiers:
? No completed Bachelor's degree. ? No prior administrative support experience in a professional environment. ? Unable to support multiple teams and varying business needs. ? Unable or unwilling to work across Mountain View and Santa Clara locations. ? Less than 12 to 18 months of availability remaining for assignment extensions.

The ideal resume would contain 0-2 years of administrative support experience, with backgrounds such as school administrative settings or retail environments acceptable, demonstrating foundational experience managing schedule supporting day?to?day operations, and working across administrative tasks, even without prior corporate or Microsoft experience. This person would have proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), basic procurement or ordering experience, a self?starter mindset, and a completed bachelor's degree, with the ability to work fully on?site and speak generally to Microsoft as a company. Preferred Qualifications ? Previous experience supporting corporate or enterprise environments. ? Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with workplace technology and productivity tools. ? Flexibility to work across multiple office locations and support different teams as business needs require. ? Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. ? Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and other administrative support tools ? Candidates should be comfortable traveling between both sites and maintaining an onsite presence across campuses.
