Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Front Office Assistant, where your energetic and organized approach will be the heartbeat of our clinic's daily operations! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to check-out. Your expertise in medical administrative support, insurance verification, and dental terminology will help streamline clinic workflows and enhance patient satisfaction. We're looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service with a lively, positive attitude. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, manage patient check-in and check-out processes, and handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and enthusiasm. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software. Verify insurance coverage and benefits. Manage patient records accurately by updating electronic health records (EHR). Collect payments. Review documentation for accuracy, maintain organized filing systems for medical records and dental charts, and support documentation review processes. Assist with intake procedures, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications to foster a positive patient experience. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office setting with strong familiarity in dental terminology and medical coding practices for an Oral Surgery practice. Proficiency in dental practice management software. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) along with typing proficiency (10 key typing). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping. Exceptional phone etiquette combined with excellent customer service skills; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations. Previous office management or front desk experience in a dental clinic preferred.
Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
