Claremont, CA Job Details Full-time $21 - $26 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Teamwork Dental receptionist Practice management software Records management Attention to detail Full Job Description Dental Front Office Assistant — Position Scope We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Front Office Assistant to provide an excellent experience for every patient while supporting the daily operations of our dental practice. Position is Part-Time @24 hours per week (Mon., Wednesday and Thursday)
Primary Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and manage front-desk communications Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments Confirm appointments and help maintain a productive schedule Collect and update patient information, forms, and insurance details Verify dental insurance benefits and assist with treatment estimates Present payment options and collect patient payments Support patient recalls, follow-ups, and unscheduled treatment outreach Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality Communicate effectively with clinical staff, providers, and patients Help keep the front office organized, professional, and patient-focused
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is professional, positive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Previous dental front-office experience and familiarity with dental practice-management software are preferred. Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, and follow-through are essential.
