Job Description
Northern California Retina Vitreous Associates Medical Group, Inc. is a retina specialist clinic with 6 locations throughout the Bay Area. We are a high volume clinic with 44 plus years of experience. We are seeking a full time, Back Office Specialist for our Daly City office location. This position will require travel between our Daly City and San Mateo office locations. Travel time and gas is compensated for. This is a full-time, on-site position. We offer three 8-hour shifts for our Back Office Specialist ranging from 7:15am to 5:00pm with a 1 hour lunch. New graduates are encouraged to apply. We will train a candidate who is willing and enthusiastic about patient service and healthcare! This is a very dynamic position and we are looking for the following attributes. Experience working in a fast paced clinical office setting. Experience with an Ophthalmology-Retina practice (not required but preferred). Must be able to multitask and handle a high patient volume. Experience performing documenting chief complaints, medical history is a must. Experience administering drops, injection preparation. Experience with OCT imaging (not required but preferred). Experience with Fundus/FA photography (not required but preferred). Computer literacy including; electronic healthcare records, web browsing, email communication, and spreadsheets. Adaptable and able to learn quickly. Meticulous and detail oriented. Able to follow direction with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills Organized, excellent time management skills. Experience ordering and tracking medications / drugs (not required but preferred). Team oriented and team player, realizes what you do contributes to the success of the group. Able and willing to travel to multiple locations Responsibilities Manage daily administrative tasks, including data entry and filing, to ensure smooth office operations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting clients over the phone and in person. Utilize computer skills to maintain accurate records and manage calendars efficiently. Support the team with organizational tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects and appointments. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance communication and improve overall office productivity. We are looking for a dedicated Back Office Specialist who can contribute positively to our team while enhancing our office operations through their skills and expertise.
