Office Assistant (Part-Time) Huntington Learning Center - [Danville, CA] Part-Time | 20-25 Hours per Week Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM - 8:00 and some Saturdays if needed About Us Huntington Learning Center is a nationally recognized education organization dedicated to helping students build confidence, improve academic skills, and achieve long-term success. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and student-focused professional to support daily center operations and academic oversight. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, organization, parent communication, and working in an educational environment. Position Overview The Office Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations of the center. This individual will support student evaluations, grading, scheduling, parent communication, and may assist with limited teaching as needed. This is a hands-on leadership support position requiring professionalism, initiative, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities Answer phones and respond to parent inquiries professionally Assist with student evaluations and grading Support scheduling and ensure smooth daily operations Maintain student records and documentation Monitor classroom flow and staff coordination Provide limited instructional support as needed Ensure center environment remains organized and welcoming Communicate effectively with parents and staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Education or related field preferred) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable managing schedules and administrative systems Prior experience in education, tutoring, or office management preferred Leadership mindset with attention to detail Professional, reliable, and proactive Compensation Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within the organization Schedule Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM 20-25 hours per week Some Saturdays if needed Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who takes pride in structure, enjoys working with students and families, and thrives in an organized academic setting.
