Job Description

Overview We are seeking a bilingual insurance assistant with strong customer service skills to join our fast‑paced office in Downey. The ideal candidate has experience in personal or commercial insurance , is reliable, organized, and comfortable handling daily client interactions. This is a full‑time, in‑office role supporting our agency with quotes, renewals, policy changes, and general office tasks. Duties Help customers with questions, payments, and policy info Prepare quotes for Auto, Home, and Commercial Process changes like adding vehicles or updating info Handle renewals and follow up with clients Collect documents needed for policies Submit applications to carriers Assist with billing and payment questions Prepare COIs for commercial clients Basic claims help (reporting and directing clients) General office tasks like filing, scanning, and emails Support Spanish‑speaking clients if bilingual Qualifications Insurance experience preferred (Auto, Home, or Commercial) Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Customer service skills — friendly, patient, professional Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency Insurance management system experience preferred Fast‑paced office ability — multitasking and staying organized Strong communication — written and verbal Attention to detail for documents, data entry, and policy accuracy Reliable and responsible — consistent attendance and follow‑through Join us as an Insurance Assistant where your proactive approach and dedication will make a real difference!
