Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant/Front Office Administrator, where your energy and organizational skills will directly impact patient care and practice efficiency. You will provide exceptional support to our dental professionals while ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a positive environment that promotes health, comfort, and trust. Responsibilities Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including chairside support, dental instrument processing, and maintaining aseptic techniques to ensure infection prevention. Taking dental x-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, adhering to all safety protocols and radiation guidelines. Manage patient records accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as OpenDental, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance information, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow efficiently as a Front Office Admin. Measure vital signs and review medical histories to prepare patients for treatment while maintaining thorough medical documentation. Maintain dental equipment, sterilize instruments according to infection control standards, and ensure the practice's clinical environment meets all safety regulations. Support Periodontal procedures by preparing materials and assisting with patient management. Experience Prior experience working in a dental practice setting is highly preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and clinical procedures is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry, dental x-ray operation, and infection control practices. Familiarity using patient management software to schedule appointments, update records, and excepting and processing patient payments. Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures. Knowledge of dental terminology related to dentistry and oral health enhances your ability to document accurately. Requirements Dental X-ray License ( if you do not have please do not apply. To work in this position you MUST have a dental x-ray license) 1 to 2 years experience Bilingual a plus: Aribic, Farsi, Chaldean preferred.
