Job Description

An established educational organization in North County is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support its academic and student-services operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a professional, people-facing environment and wants to work in a setting where organization, communication, and attention to detail really matter. You'll serve as an important point of contact for students, families, instructors, and internal staff while helping keep daily administrative operations organized.
What You'll Do:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to department leadership and staffAnswer phones, emails, and general inquiriesAssist students and families with routine questions and requestsMaintain student and departmental recordsSchedule meetings, appointments, orientations, and eventsCoordinate calendars and room reservationsPrepare correspondence, reports, forms, and presentationsProcess student documentation and maintain confidential recordsAssist with registration, enrollment, and other administrative processesEnter and update information in internal databasesTrack deadlines, forms, and outstanding documentationAssist with purchasing, invoices, reimbursements, and basic budget trackingCoordinate mail, supplies, printing, and office materialsHelp organize school events, workshops, and department meetingsPrepare meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up itemsSupport special projects for department leadership
