In line with our rapid expansion in the U.S. market, we are seeking a motivated, full-time Business & Operations Assistant to join our team in Glendora, CA . In this role, you will play a key part in sourcing and expanding our local logistics network, elevating our service standards, and directly contributing to the development and management of our U.S. domestic client base. 【Key Responsibilities】 1.Business Development & Client Outreach Lead Generation:
Conduct cold outreach (via phone and email) to prospective U.S. importers based on provided target lists to uncover potential logistics and freight needs.RFQ Acquisition:
Assist the sales team in securing Request for Quote (RFQ) opportunities and manage initial client relationship onboarding. 2.Supply Chain & Vendor Management Carrier Compliance & Vetting:
Source, screen, and vet high-quality local trucking companies (drayage/FTL/LTL) and warehousing providers. Verify their legal credentials, including MC/DOT authority and active insurance coverage limits.Cost Control & Negotiation:
Negotiate competitive rates with local vendors to optimize cost efficiency, and perform routine audits on vendor invoices/billing.Site Inspections:
Conduct periodic on-site visits to partner warehouses to assess facility standards, operational workflows, and document findings through photos and reports. 3.Market Intelligence & Compliance Support Market Insights:
Monitor and analyze U.S. Customs policies, port congestion status, and market freight rate fluctuations. Compile concise market updates for internal team alignment.Brand Management:
Manage and update the company's LinkedIn page with industry-focused, professional content, and actively maintain the company's online reputation (e.g., Google Business reviews).Regulatory Compliance:
Research import regulations and admissibility requirements for specific commodities (e.g., FDA, CBP, and USDA guidelines) to ensure full operational compliance. 【Qualifications & Requirements】Strong Communication:
Proactive, outgoing, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment that includes high-volume phone and email communication.Rapid Learning Curve:
Excellent research abilities with the knack for quickly grasping U.S. Customs regulations and international logistics workflows.Work Ethic:
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and responsible with strong execution skills and a collaborative team mindset.Experience:
Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade is preferred.
