Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent-Business Services or other assigned administrator, plan, coordinate and control the Child Nutrition Department of the Hayward Unified School District; monitor District-wide food services policies, programs and practices; serve as the executive and operational officer of the Child Nutrition Department of the District; provide advice and assistance to District executive-level management and the Board of Education on assigned program areas; prepare and monitor department budget; train and evaluate the work of assigned staff. Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree in nutrition, business, public administration or related field and five years of managerial-level experience in institutional food service.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid California driver's license. Incumbent will be involved in field work which requires travel in personal vehicle to various sites.
