This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend clinical assisting with front desk responsibilities, ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to treatment completion. Your bilingual skills will help bridge communication gaps, making dental care accessible and comfortable for diverse patient populations. Duties Greet patients warmly in both English and the target language, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using advanced patient management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, including 3D scanners and X-ray machines, and ensuring clinical supplies are stocked Assist dentists during procedures with chairside support, including handing instruments, taking dental X-rays, and applying dental terminology accurately Take vital signs and medical histories to ensure patient safety and proper treatment planning in compliance with HIPAA and infection prevention policies Maintain accurate medical documentation and records while adhering to clinical confidentiality policies Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, processing payments, and managing correspondence in multiple languages Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing electronic health records efficiently Hands-on experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques in accordance with healthcare standards Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices, oral surgery assistance, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialty areas is preferred Ability to operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices accurately Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and clinical assisting techniques like four-handed dentistry Bilingual proficiency (English and the target language) with excellent communication skills to serve diverse patient populations effectively We are dedicated to empowering our team members through ongoing training in medical documentation, infection prevention management, and healthcare infection control expertise.
