Job Description Social Vocational Services, Inc. is a non-profit corporation serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities throughout California. We are seeking a Administrative Assistant for our program office in Torrance, CA. The duties include answering and directing phone calls, greet, welcome and assist visitors, process mail and aid in the preparation of assigned executive reports. Must have High School Diploma or GED; one years of secretarial/office experience including one year experience working with various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively, have pleasant telephone and receptionist manners. $750 hiring bonus after 60th day of full attendance (must work full shift to be counted towards the 60 days).
