The Marina Office Assistant will be responsible for reservations, sales/rentals, accounting, and daily administrative operations for the marina office. This is a part-time position and reports to the Marina Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls Complete required reports on a timely basis Reconciling daily cash and credit card transactions Monthly slip/storage billing and reporting Managing all accounts payable, including vendor files, entering invoices, and paying approved invoices Provide exceptional customer service Utilize and learn reservation system for daily planning Coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish Perform, organize, and streamline operational tasks to reduce the potential for errors Collaborate with park and home office departments Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations/guidelines Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE 1 - 3
years of administrative office experience required Hospitality, resort, hotel, marina experience preferred High School Diploma required, some college strongly preferred
