Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Clerk for a part-time administrative support opportunity in Long Beach, CA. This role will support the Office Manager. The Office Clerk will help keep daily office operations running smoothly by assisting with QuickBooks, invoicing, customer communication. This is a great opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys supporting a busy office, working with numbers and records, and contributing to a team-oriented workplace with supportive leadership and clear day-to-day priorities. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Office Manager with general clerical, administrative, and accounting-related office tasks.
  • Assist with invoicing, including preparing, reviewing, tracking, and following up on invoice-related items.
  • Use QuickBooks to support data entry, billing, payment tracking, and basic office accounting functions.
  • Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding invoicing questions, discrepancies, and follow-up needs.
  • Maintain accurate records, organize documents, and help ensure timely completion of administrative deadlines. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.
  • Schedule:
    Part-time. Hours. 9AM-1PM to start. Will go to full time hours after probationary period. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Support daily office administration for a construction-related office.
  • Assist with invoicing, customer communication, and billing issue resolution.
  • Use QuickBooks for administrative and accounting support tasks.
  • Help maintain accurate records related to payroll, invoices, and office documentation.
  • 3 to 5 years of administrative, clerical, office support, or related experience.
  • QuickBooks experience required.
  • Strong invoicing experience with the ability to review details and follow up professionally.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and email regarding invoice questions or issues.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work well with an Office Manager and support changing administrative priorities.
  • Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure, or a related industry is a plus.
