Health insurance stipend 401(k) 401(k) matching Paid time off About the Role Encore Development Company, a general contractor serving commercial, residential, tenant improvement, facility maintenance, and federal government projects, is looking for a highly organized Construction Office Assistant to join our team. This role keeps our office running smoothly — supporting project managers, contractors, vendors, and clients with clear communication and reliable coordination. It's a great fit for someone who thrives on structure, enjoys variety in their day, and wants hands-on exposure to the construction industry. What You'll Do Manage phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, routing them to the right contact Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and project timelines for management and staff Organize and maintain project files, contracts, and other key documentation Build and maintain spreadsheets for administrative and reporting needs Prepare and edit documents, including reports, memos, drafts, and emails Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to help keep projects on track Monitor and restock office supplies to keep operations running smoothly Provide general administrative support to office staff as needed Help keep the office clean, organized, and fully functional Take on additional administrative duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus) 1+ year of administrative experience, ideally in construction or a related field Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills Clear written and verbal communication skills A team player who is punctual, dependable, and comfortable following instructions in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with QuickBooks, ProjectSight, and Slack is a plus (training provided if needed) Basic knowledge of construction terminology and documentation is a plus
