This position is responsible for data entry, answering and routing communications, maintaining records, processing paperwork, and assisting with general office functions. Key Responsibilities Enter and maintain patient, prescription, and insurance information accurately in the pharmacy system. Process clerical information and documentation according to established procedures. Answer incoming phone calls and route calls to the appropriate pharmacy staff. Receive, organize, and distribute faxes, emails, and other pharmacy communications. Assist with administrative aspects of refill requests and prescription related inquiries. Maintain accurate and organized patient and pharmacy records. Scan, upload, file, and retrieve documents as needed. Assist with insurance information, authorizations, and other administrative tasks as directed. Communicate professionally with healthcare facilities, prescribers, caregivers, insurance companies, and other authorized parties. Assist pharmacy staff with resolving clerical or documentation issues. Perform data entry and review information for completeness and accuracy. Maintain organized work areas and office supplies. Follow company policies, procedures, HIPAA requirements, and applicable privacy and confidentiality standards. Assist with general administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
