Job Description

California Accident Firm APC is a prominent and busy Personal Injury law firm. We are looking to expand and add to our wonderful team for an immediate need of a Case Manager Assistant. The ideal candidate has pre-litigation personal injury experience, but it is not required. Day to day tasks include, medical records collection, review and analysis, assisting clients with medical providers, appointments, preparing files to submit to our demand department, and providing superior client service.
Responsibilities:
Assist case manager in managing all aspects of the PI claims in the pre-litigation phase Provide excellent and timely customer service to clients. Assisting in managing each assigned matter, including reviewing medical records and medical recommendations, assisting with scheduling medical appointments, obtaining referrals for additional medical treatment, appointment reminders etc. Research and gather necessary documents for demand writing team and organize using CRM technology (Filevine). Traffic collision reports, medical records, medical provider research, policy limit research, assisting in liability investigations etc. Assist and act as a liaison for other departments with the firm. Perform other duties as assigned by Management and/or Team Leaders.
Skills:
Multilingual (English/Spanish/Farsi) Technology and computer savvy Time management and attention to detail is important Possess exceptional organization skills as well as effective oral and written communication skills Experience in a medical office can be a plus Self-Starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once in a fast-paced environment 1-2 years of customer service experience. Ability to handle high call volume - incoming and outgoing 1-2 years of data entry experience Previous experience with a CRM software such as Salesforce preferred but not required Proficiency in MS office suite Positive attitude, eagerness, and ability to learn new process and technology Ability to use copier, scanner, fax and computer Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer/phone
