Job Overview Join our private dental practice as a Front Desk / Back Office Coordinator, where you'll be the welcoming face and efficient organizer of our office. This vital role combines exceptional patient service with administrative excellence, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a friendly, professional environment that keeps our practice running seamlessly. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures with enthusiasm and professionalism Schedule appointments using dental practice management software, ensuring optimal patient flow Verify insurance coverage and process dental billing and collections efficiently, including dental coding and Medicare claims Maintain accurate and confidential medical records . Review documentation for completeness and accuracy while adhering to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Handle phone communication with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear information and scheduling support Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems If needed taking X-rays. If needed Assist Dr in the back office Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office environment with strong front desk or receptionist background. Knowledge of Dentrix software . Must be coachable, receptive to feedback, and able to follow direction professionally Open to receiving additional training in insurance billing to strengthen your skills and contribute more effectively. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Dentrix management software Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone and in person Ability to review clinical documentation accurately while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Xray License Prior experience with dental office procedures or clinical support is preferredJoin us to make a difference in patients' lives by providing outstanding administrative support in a vibrant dental environment. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
