Oxnard, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $28 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Office Specialist Computer literacy Scanning Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Clerical experience Full Job Description The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Dispatch, HR, Accounting, Compliance, and Management teams. This position is responsible for assisting with documentation, data entry, recordkeeping, and general office operations. The Administrative Assistant performs assigned tasks under the direction of management. Primary Responsibilities Answer and screen incoming telephone calls, directing calls to the appropriate department. Greet visitors Perform accurate data entry into company software and databases. Scan, copy, file, and organize physical and electronic documents. Maintain organized filing systems for employee, driver, and company records. Assist with organizing DOT and compliance documentation under the direction of management. Follow up with drivers and employees regarding missing paperwork or required documentation as instructed. Prepare and assemble new hire packets and other administrative documents. Assist with maintaining personnel and driver qualification files. Support dispatch, accounting, HR, and management with administrative tasks. Monitor shared email inboxes and route correspondence to the appropriate department. Order and maintain office supplies. Perform general clerical duties, including printing, scanning, copying, and document preparation. Complete other administrative duties as assigned. Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow direction. Bilingual to adjust to customer / employee needs
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
