Job Description

Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique staffing firm located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for a trade school in Pomona.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Answer phones and respond to emails. Communicate with customers and staff. Maintain databases and records. Data entry and system updates. Assist with registration paperwork. Maintain student files and transcripts. Schedule appointments. Provide customer service. General office support. Use Microsoft Office and QuickBooks. Maintain organized filing systems. Maintain communication with customers (phone, email, text, etc.) Build relationships with staff, vendors, and agencies. Relay customer feedback to management. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience : High School Diploma required. Minimum 2 years of administrative/office experience required. Educational office setting experience preferred. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.). Accurate data entry skills. Strong organization and multitasking skills.

Temporary Schedule:
Part-Time, Monday - Wednesday from 9:00am - 4:30pm (Subject to change)
Pay Rate:
$25/
Hour Pay:
