Serving as the general contractor for all Ten South projects, the division leverages captive subcontractor crews to increase efficiency in time and cost. Construction Project Administrator Roseville, CA | Full-Time | On-Site $75,000 - $120,000 based on experience. About the Role The Project Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Roseville, CA, supporting the VP of Construction and project teams across active multifamily developments. This position combines project administration, procurement, construction coordination, financial tracking, permitting, and technical support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with construction documents and drawings, and interested in developing a career in construction management. As the candidate develops knowledge of our projects, systems, and construction processes, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and advance within the construction team. Ten South Construction Project Administrator Key Responsibilities Project Administration General Project Administration Maintaining Excel structures across active trackers (material trackers, order trackers, material spec registry, BOM sheets) Drafting RFIs from notes/inputs provided by the team, tracking RFIs, coordinating RFIs between the team and design professionals Tracking submittals and shop drawing logs, and following up on outstanding items Permitting Administration Tracking permitting fees and payments, and monitoring permitting status through completion, including coordinating with plan review departments on submissions, approvals, and required documentation Financial Administration Reviewing and coding incoming invoices, tracking them against POs/contracts, routing to VP of Construction Admin for approval, and entering approved invoices into the accounting system Distributing pay application spreadsheets upon subcontract approval Contract Administration Maintaining subcontractor contract files and tracking status through execution Drafting and processing new subcontractor agreements and associated compliance documentation Processing and logging change orders, ensuring project documentation is updated accordingly Supporting other subcontractor-related administrative logistics as needed Assisting with budget tracking and job cost projections by updating financial tracking spreadsheets Procurement Reconciling PO and quote data against the specs registry to catch mismatches Drafting vendor emails/follow-ups Sending Material RFQs to vendors/suppliers and tracking responses Internal Coordination Drafting update emails/summaries Maintaining folder structure (Dropbox, procurement documentation) Attending project coordination meetings to capture and distribute meeting minutes Serving as an administrative point of contact for field superintendents, helping resolve paperwork and coordination needs Drafting & Takeoff Support AutoCAD drafting support Basic takeoffs (counting doors, opening types, similar quantity counts) Generating BOMs/quantity takeoffs from existing Revit models Fielding clarifying questions to architects/engineers on drawings/specs Delivering BOM output in the format needed for budgeting/procurement (Excel or Revit schedule export) Required Experience Revit modeling experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience or relevant coursework (e.g., AutoCAD/Revit, drafting, or CAD certificate) will also be considered Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required. Preferred Experience Revit Certification Strong familiarity with construction processes, trades, and materials Prior experience in construction administration, procurement, or subcontractor coordination is a plus Proficiency with Excel and general MS Office; Familiarity with construction accounting or field management software is a plus, or willingness to learn Basic familiarity with construction accounting concepts (subcontracts, billing structures, change orders, RFIs) is a plus, though not required Strong multi-tasking and attention-to-detail skills, with a collaborative mindset comfortable coordinating across the field team, project managers, and other stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to act professionally and maintain confidentiality
