located in Rowland Heights. We offer comprehensive primary care services to the under-insured and uninsured community members of Rowland Heights and surrounding areas. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Front Office / Medical Assistant to join our team at our Rowland Heights clinic . This position will primarily support front-office operations while assisting with back-office duties as needed to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and friendly , with strong communication and customer service skills. Previous experience in a medical office or as a Medical Assistant is preferred. The successful candidate should be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment and working collaboratively with providers and clinic staff to provide an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients and families Manage phone and electronic communications Assist with patient intake and basic adminivstrative tasks Adheres to all medical practice policies and procedures Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support the team with daily operational tasks Tracks certain diagnostic tests and referrals relating to metrics/quality indicators, including contacting other clinics for records and locating past medical records to enter them correctly in this electronic health record. Assist with patient flow to ensure smooth daily operations Room and prepare patients for visits Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Stock and manage medical supplies as needed Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver patient-centered care Adapt to varying clinic needs with flexibility and teamwork Performs other duties as necessary and as assigned by the manager Responsible to maintain a safe and clean work environment, including unit based specific safety and infection control requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
English language proficiency 1+ year medical office experience
Required Qualifications:
