Job Description
Job Summary Provides administrative support to the assigned organization using standard office equipment, corporate systems, processes, policies and procedures. Performs document/procedure preparation, record keeping, organizing and distributing mail and file maintenance. Job Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities Composes correspondence and reports. Proofs and edits documents as necessary. Schedules appointments and meetings. Prepares meeting minutes, action logs, letters and other types of written material. Orders office and administrative supplies and maintains purchasing card account. Answers telephone and directs incoming calls. Completes word processing for projects, including specifications, reports, white papers and calculations. Maintains calendar for and arranges meeting facilities. Arranges travel, prepares itineraries, trip files and expense reports. Creates databases and spreadsheets as required. Processes purchase requisitions, reviews and submits invoices for payment, and performs similar corporate processes, as needed. Performs setup for visitor/customer visits and plans special events as directed by management. Supports a large organization or department, or one member of senior management and their department(s). Responsible for some confidential and time sensitive material. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements Education High School diploma or GED Certifications None Required Experience A minimum of 4 years administrative/clerical experience Preferred Experience None Required and Desired Skills Strong multitasking skills Strong time management skills Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize workload Physical/Mental Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to carry and handle up to 25 pounds; reach below shoulder Ability to use hands to accomplish tasks as assigned Ability to sit, stand, and walk Ability to perform highly repetitive motions with fingers, hands, wrists, and shoulders Ability to effectively communicate; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location Basic computer skills Ability to work inside an office Ability to work alone, work with others, and interact with the public Ability to perform under deadline pressure EnergySolutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
