Front Desk & Member Services Coordinator Status:
Part-Time (Approximately 25 hours per week)
Typical Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Hours may vary based on Club needs and special events.)
Compensation:
Hourly rate $22.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Primary Responsibilities Member & Family Services Welcome members, parents, volunteers, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Assist families with membership registration, program enrollment, and account management. Answer questions regarding Club programs, policies, schedules, and events. Maintain accurate member records and ensure confidentiality of all information. Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records as assigned. Front Office Administration Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Respond to emails and general inquiries in a timely manner. Perform general office duties including filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and preparing documents. Maintain an organized and welcoming front office and reception area. Assist with ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory. Technology & Data Management Utilize Club software for membership management, registration, attendance, and reporting. Learn and adapt quickly to new software platforms and technology. Ensure data accuracy and assist with maintaining electronic records. Support staff with technology-related administrative tasks as needed. Customer Service Deliver outstanding customer service to members, parents, donors, volunteers, and community partners. Handle concerns professionally, calmly, and with discretion. Represent the Boys & Girls Club in a positive and professional manner at all times. General Support Assist with special events and registration periods. Support program staff with administrative needs. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Club. Qualifications High school diploma required; college coursework preferred. Minimum 2 years of customer service or administrative experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Ability to quickly learn new software systems and technology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Experience handling confidential information with discretion. Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with membership or registration software. Experience working in a nonprofit, school, childcare, recreation, or youth-serving organization. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
