Office Manager Job Description Summary/ Objective:
The Medical Office Support Staff is responsible for all front desk requests.
Essential Functions:
Administrative Duties:
Using computer applications (EHR, Microsoft Office, and Internet) Scheduling and confirming patient appointments Greeting visitors and determining the purpose of the visit and directing them appropriately Answering telephones and transferring calls to the appropriate staff members Understanding health insurance policies Ability to collect co-pays/form fees etc. Perform basic direct referrals

Position Type/Expected Work Hours :
This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week. Scheduled hours will be 8am-5pm Mon- Fri.
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent qualification Advanced understanding of medical terminology and administration processes Proficiency in EHR/EMR programs and Microsoft office
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
