Assistant Personal Trainer Manager

Assist the Personal Trainer Manager in supervising daily gym operations and maintaining a motivating atmosphere for trainers and clients Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing prospective trainers and onboarding new team members Help coordinate employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge Manage scheduling, shift management, and ensure adequate staffing levels for peak hours Oversee client engagement by promoting personal training programs, upselling services, and ensuring excellent customer service Monitor inventory of training equipment and supplies; assist with purchasing and inventory control to maintain optimal resources Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS transactions with accuracy Lead by example in promoting health & safety standards, proper equipment use, and cleanliness protocols Support marketing initiatives to attract new clients through community outreach or promotional events Assist in managing budgets, pricing strategies for training packages, and retail sales of fitness products Proven management experience within a fitness or health club environment, preferably with assistant manager roles or supervisory experience Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and connect with diverse clientele; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated skills in sales management, retail math, merchandising, and customer service excellence Knowledge of employee orientation, interviewing techniques, recruiting practices, and training & development strategies Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures Leadership qualities including team management, supervising experience, organizational skills, and time management abilities Familiarity with retail sales environments or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Join us as an Assistant Personal Trainer Manager where your enthusiasm for fitness meets your leadership talents!
