Job Description
We are an established manufacturer and distributor of retro gaming devices and video gaming accessories located in Torrance, California, seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our Product team. This position is based onsite at our Torrance office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Proofread and edit product packaging, user guides, sell sheets and related materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for project documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, samples and project timelines.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams and external vendors or factories.
- Assist with product testing, quality control and competitive market research.
- Perform general administrative duties, including measuring, weighing and shipping boxes up to 25 lbs.
- Support special projects and additional research as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, suitable for diverse audiences.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts and skills.
- Very organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong comprehension and note-taking skills, with the ability to accurately capture and organize key information.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
