Job Summary We are seeking an Administrative Support professional for a contract/temporary Administrative Assistant/Customer Support opportunity in Tracy, CA. This role supports a busy manufacturing and logistics environment by helping coordinate delivery routes, communicate with drivers and customers, maintain accurate records, and keep daily operations running smoothly. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced administrative role with variety, problem-solving, and daily collaboration across Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and the chance to work as part of a team-focused environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and communication are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer support by responding to delivery questions, no-shows, cancellations, scheduled deliveries, and related service concerns.
  • Retrieve schedule, asset, route, customer, product, inventory, and order information using internal computer systems.
  • Prepare, update, and distribute daily route schedules while helping assign drivers based on route needs, skill set, and DOT Hours of Service requirements.
  • Monitor route manifests and delivery activity throughout the day, documenting updates and making adjustments as needed.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, inventory records, reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documentation.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems while supporting cross-functional departments with administrative and data-related needs. Compensation and Benefits
  • Job Type:
    Contract/Temporary.
  • Pay Range:
    $25.00 to $27.00 per year.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Location:
    Tracy, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Coordinate daily dispatch and administrative support for delivery routes and driver schedules.
  • Monitor route activity, delivery documentation, customer requests, and operational updates throughout the day.
  • Enter, update, verify, and maintain accurate customer, product, inventory, order, and shipping data.
  • Generate reports and support operational teams with clerical, logistics, and documentation needs.
  • 1 to 2 years of administrative, clerical, dispatch, logistics, customer service, or related office support experience.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to use internal systems, databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to accurately enter, review, audit, and maintain high-volume data and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills for working with drivers, customers, and internal departments.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to route changes, delivery updates, scheduling needs, and shifting operational priorities.
  • Professional customer service mindset with the ability to respond to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics support.
  • Familiarity with delivery routing, route manifests, shipping documents, inventory records, purchase orders, or invoices.
  • Experience supporting multiple departments in a fast-paced operations environment.
