Full Job Description Our Mission:
Abrazar (to Embrace in Spanish) is a non-profit, direct-service organization providing services to residents in Orange County. Abrazar is dedicated to embracing the diversity of families in our community, educating them on the resources we provide through our community collaborations, and empowering them to improve the quality of their lives through programs addressing health equity. Abrazar has been addressing inequities in the social drivers of health since 1975. Abrazar serves the community by delivering programs that address the social drivers of health and improve health equity. Our goals are to Embrace, Educate and Empower children, families, and individuals with the necessary tools to achieve better health outcomes. We believe that diversity and the delivery of collaborative services are critical to the success of our programs and measure the impact of our programs by evaluating their ability to enhance our clients' social drivers of health.
Position Summary:
The Community Services Coordinator is in charge of food distribution programs, senior lunch programs, home delivery of meals coordination, donated food commodities program, and assists with program enrollment into services offered by Abrazar.
Position Responsibilities:
Work to support community outreach events and other promotion and communication efforts as needed including many events, outreach, and fairs for offsite work. Assist with various duties during our food distribution period. Coordinate the operation of all of our food programs. Help seniors and visitors with questions they may have Deliver meals to seniors' home Serving and distributing meals to students Packaging food for our food distribution. Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including restrooms, hallways, meeting rooms, and offices. Empty trash cans, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, and dust furniture. Replenish supplies in restrooms and throughout the center. Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed. Set up and take down chairs and tables for events as needed. May perform some light cleaning duties in the kitchen or other designated areas. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff, program participants, and visitors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Preferably Spanish or Vietnamese Bilingual/Biliterate but not required. Experience working with adults and children under 13 years old. Detail-orientated and self-motivated, with strong multi-tasking Must have excellent networking, organizational, communication, and listening Must have excellent interpersonal communication Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple Must be able to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work

Bilingual skills in English and Vietnamese.
