Approximately six months (Anticipate position to end in April 2027) Position type: W-2 household employee Start date: Immediately About the Position We are a busy family of five with three children seeking a dependable, organized household assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. This is a household-support position and does not include childcare. The primary responsibilities are preparing family dinners, completing laundry, helping with dishes and kitchen upkeep, preparing the children's lunches for the following day, picking up grocery orders, and other small errands. We are looking for someone proactive who can learn our family's routines, work independently, and take ownership of recurring household tasks without needing detailed instructions each day. Responsibilities Prepare a healthy, family-friendly dinner each workday Help plan simple weekly meals and maintain a grocery list Pick up preordered groceries and other necessary household items Put groceries away and help keep the refrigerator and pantry organized Prepare and pack the children's lunches for the following school day Wash, dry, fold, and put away children's laundry Unload and load the dishwasher Wash dishes and clean the kitchen after meal preparation Tidy the common household areas Organize children's clothing, lunch supplies, and other frequently used household items Prepare children's items for their extracurricular activities (filling water bottles, laying out soccer/dance clothes, etc.) Monitor basic household supplies and let us know when something needs to be reordered Complete occasional household errands (target, amazon returns, dry cleaning pickup, post office, etc.) This position does not include childcare, deep cleaning, or heavy housekeeping.
