Job DescriptionPosition Summary
The Employee Housing Administrative Assistant provides support to managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and general administrative activities of the housing office. This position is a temporary, six-month assignment running from September 2026 through February 2027. This position reports to the Housing Operations Manager.
The wage range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 per hour. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.

- Greet, assist and direct guests at office reception area
- Answer phone calls and respond to housing emails
- Handle administrative and clerical tasks for housing leases and entering information into lease software
- Coordinate move-in and move-out appointments with tenants
- Organize and maintain file and key system, and file correspondence and other records in a timely matter
- Handle the collection of rent payments
- Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials
- Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes
- Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum one year of experience in a clerical/administrative support positionKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient knowledge using a property management software; or the keen ability to learn one
- Proficient in English language both verbal and written
- Preferred knowledge of other languages, specifically Spanish
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to be on a computer and phone a majority of the workday
- Ability to solve complex situations and scenarios
- Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics with team and tenants
- Ability to work well under deadline pressure and to quickly adapt to constant changeAdditional InformationWork Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
- No adverse or hazardous conditions
