Job Description
Family seeking a part time Household Manager and Family Assistant to help the home and family operate smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys serving others, takes pride in creating order, anticipates needs, and finds satisfaction in helping a family thrive. My goal is to spend more time focused on being creative and running my own business, while entrusting day-to-day household logistics to a highly capable person.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain organization and order throughout the home Manage laundry, folding and bringing to kids rooms. Kitchen resets and daily dish management Light housekeeping and tidying between professional cleanings Organize closets, pantries, storage areas, and family spaces Monitor household supplies and inventory Family Support Meal planning and family meal preparation Grocery shopping and household errands Coordinate some family schedules and appointments Prepare the home for family arrivals and restore it after departures Coordinate cleaners, landscapers, contractors, and service providers Schedule maintenance and service appointments Monitor household projects and follow through on details Manage deliveries, returns, and household purchases Personal Assistant Duties Run errands and manage household calendars and reminders Assist with event preparation and family activities Help coordinate special occasions Anticipate needs and proactively solve problemsThe Ideal Candidate:
Highly organized and detail-oriented Positive, service-minded, and dependable Trustworthy, discreet, and professional Self-starter who requires minimal supervision Excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working around children and in a busy family environment Able to identify what needs to be done without being asked Enjoys creating calm, order, and efficiencyQualifications:
Previous experience working in a home in some capacity especially as a Household Manager, Family Assistant, Personal Assistant, Executive Housekeeper, Estate Manager, or similar role. Open to working with someone new to this kind of job but must be extremely organized and familiar with helping families in some capacity. Open to college students and working with your schedule! Clean driving record and reliable transportation Strong professional references Ability to pass a background screeningSchedule:
8-10 hours a week, generally Monday through Friday, with some flexibility based on family needs.Compensation:
