Negotiable About the Position We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations while assisting with flooring takeoffs and proposal preparation. This role combines traditional office administration, estimating, and client interfacing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and analytical work. Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Duties Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately. Respond to emails and communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members. Schedule appointments and maintain calendars. Organize and maintain digital and physical files. Assist with data entry and document management. Prepare reports, correspondence, and other office documents. Support daily office operations and administrative tasks as needed. Flooring Estimating Duties Review floor plan sets. Calculate flooring square footage and material quantities from plans. Identify project requirements and verify measurements. Prepare accurate flooring proposals. Maintain organized records of bids and project information. Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and customers regarding project specifications and pricing. Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to read and interpret floor plans and construction drawings (preferred but not required; training will be provided). Strong attention to detail and accuracy with measurements and calculations. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Previous experience in office administration, customer service, construction, flooring, or estimating is a plus. What We Offer Opportunities for growth and skill development.
