Unit Clerk Cardiopulmanary FT Grand River Health | Rifle, CO At Grand River, we are more than a hospital - we are neighbors taking care of neighbors proudly serving residents of Western Colorado and beyond. What You'll Do You'll serve as the welcoming first point of contact for patients visiting the Cardiopulmonary Department, helping ensure a smooth, organized, and positive experience from check-in through follow-up. In this role, you'll provide administrative support to Respiratory Therapy, Cardiac Rehab, Exercise Physiology, and the Sleep Lab while coordinating communication between patients, providers, and internal departments. Welcome patients, manage check-in, answer multi-line phones, and direct calls and messages appropriately. Coordinate scheduling activities with the Centralized Scheduling team and monitor department schedules and calendars. Process patient paperwork, scan documents into the electronic medical record, distribute reports, and maintain departmental records. Support daily department operations by managing office supplies, handling mail, and maintaining patient forms. Foster positive relationships with patients, providers, and coworkers while providing professional, responsive customer service. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned Who We're Looking For We're looking for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working with patients and keeping a busy clinical office organized. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, adaptable, and committed to providing exceptional service while supporting a collaborative healthcare team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with two years of medical office experience preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning electronic health record and department-specific software. Ability to prioritize tasks, follow written and verbal instructions, and build positive working relationships across departments. What We Offer Our total rewards package includes
Pay Range:
$17.50- $21.87/hour (based on experience)
