Role Description The FCYE-Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Hartford, CT, providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to attorneys and office staff. Daily responsibilities include managing phone calls, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and maintaining calendars. The role also involves preparing, formatting, and filing documents, organizing case files, data entry, and maintaining accurate records. The Administrative Assistant will handle correspondence, support executive-level staff with meeting coordination and logistics, and assist with basic office operations such as supplies, mail distribution, and photocopying. The position requires consistent professionalism, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced legal environment. Qualifications Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including scheduling, filing, document preparation, and data entry. Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and external partners. Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance, such as calendar management, meeting coordination, and support for senior staff. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and case management or database systems). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to policies and procedures. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in office administration is beneficial. Prior experience in a legal, government, or public service setting is a plus.
